The job in a nutshell…..

Ernst Auto Group provides everything you need to succeed in selling vehicles. With access to eight acres of new Toyotas, Chevrolets, Buicks, GMCs and certified, pre-owned vehicles, you are sure to have the vehicle the customer wants. We have a no-pressure approach when assisting our customers, along with a transparent and simple sales process. This practice allows the the customer to feel at ease, but most importantly, you will too. Our sales team averages 15 vehicles/person/month. You must be digitally savvy and able to speak to anyone, anytime, anywhere.

There will be no shortage of training…

Training is conducted online, in classroom, and on the job. Both General Motors and Toyota have ongoing certification programs. We believe in giving everyone the same great experience, so training happens routinely on our routing processes. However, those individuals intent on becoming true sales professionals continue to self-educate. After all, we are what we read and with whom we socialize.  

The career path is as big as you want…

While selling vehicles is a rewarding and satisfying career, some wish to progress into management.  Those careers are:

-F&I Manager

-Finance Director 

-Sales Manager or Assistant Sales Manager

-Used Car Director

-BDC Manager 

-Special Finance Manager 

-General Sales Manager

Great work means great pay…

Ernst Auto Group does not believe in a commission-only sales plan. The industry has changed and so have we.  Ernst is in need of true professionals to meet the demands of today’s customer. Therefore, our compensation plan is a combination of a salary and bonus structure. The average Sales Consultant earns $64,000 a year. However, the range is from $30,000 to over $100,000. A Sales Consultant has an unlimited earning potential, driven by the effort put into the career.
